How to use Remote Desktop to connect to Windows 10 Professional
First, You must enable Remote Desktop for Windows 10 Professional, search for “remote settings” in Cortana search box, select “Allow remote access to your computer” from the results.
It will open System Properties window on the Remote tab. On the Remote Desktop section, select “Allow remote connections to this computer” and then check “Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication (recommended)”.
You need to do this on both Windows 10 computers, the one you are using, and the other one you want to remote. By doing this, you are allowing another computer to connect to your computer.

Before you try to connect to other pc, you need to know the name of the PC, the ip address, username and password. Without those, you cannot connect with Remote Desktop. Open command prompt in the computer you want to connect, then type: ipconfig and hit enter to know what the ip address is.
Launch Remote Desktop again then enter the IP address you just got, then click connect
In the next window, you will be prompted to enter a username and password from your remote computer, check on “Remember my credentials” to connect it automatically in the next session.
You will be warned once again, click “Connect anyway” to continue.
